En l’an de Grâce 2016, le Vatican a décidé de relancer l’Inquisition et de déléguer aux membres d’Ecclesia la sainte tâche de combattre l’hérésie et de dresser des bûchers partout où l’immonde étendrait ses ravages. C’est ainsi qu’Ecclesia sort sa première démo en Juin 2017, sobrement intitulée Witchfinding Metal of Doom. Mélange de heavy, doom metal et prières monastiques, cette offrande est composée de trois titres écrits pour la plus grande gloire de l’Inquisition. Après une première apparition scénique en 2018, la juridiction Ecclesia complète ses rangs et sort son premier véritable album, De Ecclesiæ Universalis le Vendredi 13 Novembre 2020 sur le label italien Aural Music. En attendant de pouvoir à nouveau se produire sur scène, Ecclesia a d’ores et déjà commencé à plancher sur le deuxième album et prépare patiemment ses instruments de torture…
In 2016 anno Domini, the Vatican decided to relaunch the Inquisition and to appoint the members of Ecclesia to fight the heretic and to put up stakes wherever it may be necessary. Thus Ecclesia released their first demo in June 2017, simply entitled Witchfinding Metal of Doom and offering a compromise between heavy, doom metal and monastic chants. The three tracks of this record were composed for the greatest glory of the Inquisition. The Ecclesia court appeared for the first time on stage in 2018 before fulfilling its ranks and releasing its first full-length album, De Ecclesiæ Universalis on Friday 13th November 2020 through Italien label Aural Music. While awaiting the opportunity to get back on stage, Ecclesia has already begun working on the next album. The instruments of torture will be ready on time…
